Rust-Oration
Product Description: JNJ Industries’ GlobalTech® RUST-ORATION™is proven effective to remove rust from all types of mild steel and iron. It is safe on all surfaces and will not harm copper, brass, aluminum, plastic, rubber or vinyl. It works through selective chelation, attacking only the oxidized particles while leaving the good, non rusted metal alone. Most rust removers are acid based and eat the metal away at the weakest point, and often times damage the non rusted area as well as the rust. Rust-Oration contains no acids, is non toxic, odor free, and completely safe. It won’t harm your skin, and can be poured down the drain after use. It starts out a clear amber color and gets darker as it absorbs the iron oxide. When it turns dark brown or black, it is saturated and can no longer absorb more oxidized iron, and should be disposed of. Rust-Oration is available in liquid form as well as saturated wipes. The dual action wipes can be used to remove flash or surface rust, while deeper rusted or oxidized parts should be immersed in the liquid. The liquid can be used over and over until it turns dark brown, almost black in color. Used material can be poured down the drain or out on the lawn, as it makes a great fertilizer after use.
